About Us

Foogazoo began back in late 2012, as a bit of hobby for Harry and Jennifer Rutherford.

Originally, it was just something to make Jennifer smile, using photographs they snapped with their point-and-shoot cameras and iPhones.
But then it turned into something more.
Something to make a lot of people smile.

The train of thought ran something like this:
“There’s enough negativity, anger, derision, etc.,
floating around out there on the web-nets.
Adding to that discourse became
rather pointless – even self-destructive.”

And so Foogazoo was born.

Over the years, it grew into a labor of love for Harry and Jennifer,
popping things into the universe that might bring a
smile and a chuckle to the viewer.

It’s important to note that Artificial Intelligence is never used in the creation of Foogazoo panels.
From time to time there’s some obvious (and not-so-obvioius) Photoshop magic sprinkled here and there.
But nothing more.

These are simply photographs from Harry and Jennifer’s life.
Things they see in their day-to-day lives.

And now there are several books, posters, postcards, bookmarks, and other items to be found at the Foogazoo Store.

The latest, Everything Was Nice When I Got Here is a comic book styled book, that Jennifer calls “An un-comic book.”

So visit the store and get some books that are ready to read!
And don’t forget, they’d love to hear from you via email.

Until then, stay warm and find something to smile about!

Foogazoo!
